Hartman's zebras live in the mountains of Southwest Africa, Chapman's zebras live in the savannahs of South Africa.

Interesting facts:
- Zebras have excellent memory.
- They perfectly recognize their relatives and friends by the pattern of stripes and by the sounds.
- Zebras amaze with their loyalty. Most of these animals live in the same pair for their entire lives.
- Zebras have poor eyesight, so they try to graze near other herbivores in order to hear danger signals from them.
- Mountain zebras love
- It is believed that the zebra is one of the most timid animals in nature. But at the same time they are able to defend themselves from predators and have strong hind legs.
- Humans have been trying to domesticate these animals for a very long time, but these attempts have not brought any results.
- Hartman's (mountain zebra, an endangered species), the smallest zebra species. Visually, they have a darker color, their black stripes are quite wide and reach almost to the hooves.
- Chapman's (Burchell's zebras) are the most common species, the color consists of many stripes, the stripes on it are wide, and they are rather weakly expressed on the back of the body
