Interesting facts:
- The pattern of spots on the leopard's skin is unique — there are no two identical leopards in nature.;
- Leopards can have both spotted and black kittens in the same litter.;
- All leopards are born with blue eyes. Then the iris of the eyes changes color.;
- Leopards can growl like lions and purr like domestic cats.;
- Leopards are very strong — they are able to drag the carcass of an animal that is twice their weight up a tree.;
- Leopards are great swimmers. On occasion, they willingly catch fish or crabs.;
- The weight of an adult leopard is comparable to that of an adult, up to 75-80 kilograms.;
- A leopard's hearing is about five times sharper than that of a human.;
- Leopards live in captivity for an average of 12-15 years.
