Interesting facts:
- An owl can turn its head 270 degrees, that is, make three quarters of a full turn.
- Owls' eyes are completely motionless, which is why nature has given them such a mobile neck.
- The owl is a strong bird of prey, it is able to lift heavy prey, such as a fox.
- Owls hunt exclusively at night. At the same time, they fly silently.
- Having met, the owls create a couple and remain faithful to each other for the rest of their lives.
- Small baby owls are born weighing from 50 to 70 grams. The chicks are fed by their parents. During this period, it is dangerous to approach the owls — the female is desperately protecting her future offspring. At about the age of three months, the chicks can already fly, but they are still under the care of their parents.
- Life expectancy can range from 20 to 50 years.
